I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect newborn session. Jude and his family came from Midtown Atlanta for their newborn portrait session. Mama let me know that she usually didn’t wear makeup. Therefore, we had our hair and makeup artist do a very low key look for her. I love how everything turned out!

First, I photographed Jude for his solo poses on fabric backdrops. Second, we did some beautiful poses with props. Lastly, the family portraits portion of the newborn session.
Additionally, we incorporated some special pieces throughout the entire session.

Jude’s parents let me know that the elephant is very important to them. This is a common theme in their home, as well as an important piece of their heritage. Thus we made sure to incorporate lots of elephants into his newborn session! I had Jude’s parents bring a bunch of elephants they have from home.
Another important piece Jude’s family wanted to incorporate into his newborn portraits was a 3 piece suit. Have you ever seen such a tiny suit? Undoubtedly the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen!

Also, another piece we incorporated was the family’s traditional African garb. Jude’s parents brought in the most beautiful garments for the family newborn portraits. I was so glad they did. Furthermore, I especially loved that. As a result, their family portraits would be a true representation of them. Or course, I cannot wait to see the 40×60 family portrait wall art up on their walls!
