What to Wear for Your Session |Marietta, GA Newborn Photographer, Casey McMinn Photography.

When designing the different sets we will use for your newborn portrait session there are a lot of factors that go into the designing of these sets. Before your portrait session takes place we will have a phone or in person consultation to discuss the colors in your home, on your walls, the theme and colors of your nursery, any special requests you have for colors used in your session, as well as what to wear for your portrait session. What to wear for your session is very important because there are certain things you’ll want to avoid and certain things you’ll want to wear, in order to get the best portraits possible. Here is what I always suggest:

Always wear solid color clothing pieces and avoid patterns, stripes, etc.

Clothing pieces with a little bit of texture is always nice!

Neutral tones will look the best. This creates a beautiful, timeless look.

Minimal jewelry will allow for the focus to stay on baby and family.

Lastly, make sure to wear clothing pieces that are more form fitting and not so loose and baggy.
