Hi sweet friends! Since opening my new studio I’ve had a lot of questions about the experience for newborn sessions at my studio and how everything works. Here are all the sweet details you need to know!

HERE’S HOW THE PROCESS WORKS FROM MEETING TO DELIVERY:
Initial Meeting
After your initial inquiry, I’ll invite you to do an in-person consultation and studio tour so we can make sure my services and style will be the right fit for you and your family. The in-person consultation is when we will discuss the process of the photo shoot from start to finish, so you’ll know exactly what to expect when the big day comes. I truly believe that it is so important for my clients to meet me in person, so you’ll feel comfortable with me for the day of your shoot. As a mom of two with one on the way, I know how important the comfort factor with adults is for your little ones!
Ready to Book
Your session fee is due upon booking. For newborn shoots I will put your due date on my calendar. Once baby is born, you’ll get in touch with me and at that point we will schedule a time within 5 – 15 days after baby’s birth for you to come in to do your newborn shoot.
Prepping for Your Shoot
When thinking about outfits to wear for your shoot, stick to solid color pieces in neutral tones. This will look best for your portraits. For newborn shoots, don’t worry about clothing for baby as I will use clothing pieces and swaddles from the inventory in my studio. As always, if you have any questions about wardrobe, please reach out to me so I can help you pick out the perfect outfits.
Your Session Day
The big day is finally here! Try to relax and not stress about outfits or your kiddos. A relaxed mom and dad create a carefree environment, necessary for the best portraits possible. Please notify me when you arrive so I can meet you outside to help assist you and your family to get inside and bring anything in that you may have.
Presentation of Gallery and Ordering of Images AKA Reveal Day!!
The ordering appointment will be scheduled approximately one week after your session. This is where we will view your gallery on the reveal wall and order prints and products to decorate your home with.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A NEWBORN SHOOT?
+ Newborn shoots are done in my studio in Marietta and are done between 5 – 14 days old
+ Investment starts with a session fee and a collection fee
+ Session Fee of $175 is due at booking to reserve your spot on my calendar
+ The session fee includes 2 – 3 hours of shooting time, my time and talent, creative styling for the shoot with access to props, swaddles and newborn outfits in the studio, coffee, drinks, refreshments and the ordering appointment. Prints, products and digital files are sold separately. The session fee does not include prints, products or digital files. Prints, products and digital files sold separately in collections
+ Collections are purchased at your viewing and ordering appointment about one week after your shoot
