One Year Old Cake Smash | Marietta, GA baby photographer, Casey McMinn Photography, shares sweet baby Mica’s cake smash session. One year old Mica came to Casey McMinn Photography in Marietta, GA for a one year milestone session.

One Year Old Milestone Session – bring the whole family!

First, his mom, dad, big sister, and Mica dressed in coordinating outfits, provided by the studio, for some family portraits, in addition to the cake portraits. Mica wore a brown cider colored button down romper. His big sister wore a long sleeve grey dress. Their parents wore shades of blue and cream.

One Year Old Cake Smash – time for the smash

Second, and after the family portraits, it was finally time for Mica’s cake smash session! The theme was blues, balloons, and a rustic naked cake. The cake was decorated with classic white icing. It was placed on a white cake stand. Mica’s mom helped him to sit down in front of the cake.

At first, Mica was a little hesitant to touch the cake, because he was intrigued by the balloons. But his mom encouraged him, and soon he was digging his hands into the frosting. However, he ended up smearing it all over his face and hands. He even took some bites of cake. Mica had a lot of fun at his one year smashing cake session!

Mica’s cake smashing session was a lot of fun for everyone involved. It was a great way to celebrate Mica’s first birthday. And the photos from the session will be cherished for years to come.

Tips for Planning Your One Year Old’s Milestone Session

If you’re planning a cake smashing session for your one-year-old, here are a few tips:

• Choose a theme that you love. This will help Casey to create and put together a cohesive and stylish look for your session.
