Newborn photography Woodstock, GA. Cutest name ever, Wilder! I just love it. First child to his wonderful parents, Casey and Wesley. I love photographing first time parents. It brings me back to when I became a parent. What wonderful memories!
The initial process for creating your dream newborn session
When Wilder’s mom contacted me we set up a phone consultation. The phone consultation is an integral part to creating your dream portrait session. It is during that time that we discuss colors in your home, nursery themes, and more.
After the phone consultation I get to work at designing your sets. This starts with initial drafts with ideas. I will then start pulling specific pieces in the studio. This includes backdrops, fabrics, outfits and props.
Several days before your session all of these things are put together. When you come to the studio everything is beautifully and specifically designed for you and your baby.

Like I said before, I love photographing first time parents. Their excitement moves me. This alone is one of the reasons why I love my job so much.
Photographing somebody’s first family portraits is so sweet. Holding your brand new baby with your loved one by your side is an experience you won’t forget.

When designing the sets used for this session, I incorporated the theme in his nursery. His nursery theme started with inspiration from his name, Wilder. From that his parents did a sort of wild west outdoorsy theme.
I used a sun, moon, pine tree, mountain set that I have to create something perfect for the nursery walls. Here is what I came up with!!
Wilder’s mom brought in the cute little name plate. It incorporated perfectly into the set. In fact, I think I’m going to start using these in every newborn session. They’re just too cute!
